American Gangster Remixes: Round 19

by Kevin on December 18, 2007

American WonderSorry for the lack of updates yesterday. I must have had close to ten remixes albums thrown my way and I just had to take a day off from all of this. Anyway, my boy Carsten is helping me sort out the good from the bad ones and we should have a huge update tonight. To hold you over until then, I had to post this one as I am a huge Stevie Wonder fan.

DJ Crazy Chris threw American Gangster on top of some Stevie Wonder and calls it American Wonder. I’m listening to it now and it is pretty nice. So definitely download this one. That artwork is crazy too!

Check out DJ Crazy Chris’ MySpace page.  He’s got a few other mixtapes up there that looks interesting!

Poppa was a Rolling Stone (B.I.G. & The Rolling Stones Mashup) is the one he’s working on next. He just completed Marvin Jay (Jay Z + Marvin Gaye — pre-AG Accs being released) and Eminelton (Eminem + Elton John) in the past year. Definitely some hot mixes!

And don’t forget Phillmatic (Phil Collins + Nas)

the Saturday Night Live sketch with Stevie Wonder at the begininng of Success is fuckin’ funny as hell. it segues into a version that ends up being a chop of “Ebony & Ivory”. it’s a simple beat that doesn’t really move me; sounds like it was chopped just for the sake of chopping it up.

the Eddie Murphy interlude at the beginning of I Know was funny too.

LOL yeah those skits made this one unique!
