Harlem World: Original Samples

Just a little break from the 9th Wonder samples we’ve been posting lately, you may look at this one and say “WTF?”, but ya’ll know you were bumpin’ Mase back in ’97! I actually put this one together at the request of someone here on the site and I’m glad I did… this is a really nice set!

With production mostly by Puff Daddy and his Hitmen crew, you know they were gonna bring some heat. Some may say that Puffy contributed to the fall of hip hop with him and Mase’s shiny suits in the late 90s, but this was just a feel good period… no harm done.  Anyway, whether you’re feeling this album or not, definitely check the samples… it’s a good set.

Good lookin’ I was the one who actually requested it. One of my favorite albums thought the samples would be good to hear.

After BIG dropped the remix to “One More Chance” it was a wrap. Bad Boy had things on lock until then the end/beginning of ’97. Anybody remember D.C. Live? Bad Boy, Mase, Puff, BIG, JM, Lil’ Kim had the club on lock from 12 to close.

This is cool. Can you do one for Double Up, his second album or atleast put up the instrumentals for that one?
