I remember going through my older brothers tape box and falling in love with this album on first listen. Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew’s second album produced hits such as “Rising to the Top” and my personal favorite “I’m Getting Ready.” This set is typical 88′ material…..lots of James Brown and other popular breaks. 1988 was a GREAT year in Hip-Hop!
There are a few missing samples for a couple of the songs so hit us up with any info! As a bonus we’ve added the samples for “The Show” and “La Di Da Di.” Props goes to Onez for the assist for some of the samples. Link and info after the jump…Enjoy!
