Efil4zaggin: Original Samples

nwa-wide

Props again to Onez for bangin this set out. Efil4zaggin (known as Niggaz4Life) is the final album from N.W.A. before Dr. Dre left the group for Death Row Records.  The album reached number one on the Billboard charts in its second week without much radio/television backing.

Many familiar samples with a few new ones from Bob James, Kool and the Gang, Afrique, Wilson Pickett, among others.  Enjoy!

Amazing set!! I swear, this is Dre’s best work, EVER. Musically this album is immense. Even with the violent, misogynistic, offensive (But highly amusing) lyrics!! Also, When I was watching Dirty Harry recently, and heard ‘Scorpio’ in the soundtrack, I nearly fell off my sofa!

Thomas, Kevin, Onez..ya’ll all monsters, appreciate this one right here. I was listening to this CD the other day and how ironic is it that NWA’s best body of work came after Ice Cube and Cube dropped Amerikkka’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate..
