Slaughterhouse: Original Samples

Contrary to other members on this site, I can’t get enough of the new Slaughterhouse album… been bumping it non-stop since it leaked a week before it’s release date. Thomas and I have also been diggin for the samples since then too! Some were easy, some were not. In fact, there are still a few songs left that we don’t have sample credits for. But that’s not gonna stop us from putting these samples out. In the past we used to sit on sets for so long just to get them perfect, but the demand is high so here you are! I know some of you will come through with the missing samples… especially “Onslaught 2″, which is right at the tip of me tongue… I just can’t place it.

    How about an album review then? Slautherhouse and DJ Honda’s IV definitely deserve it, both albums are crazy.

  • 1

    thanks for this ,pray also contains a sample of Realsong by Rohd

  • 1

    worry read a website wrong^ lol

  • Thomas

    The soundtrack that “L’alpageur” comes from has three versions on it. All three sound the same. We used the first one on the album. Kev found the Spinners joint because it wasn’t listed anywhere.

    me too ive been bumpin on nonstop too…. i just noticed Joe’s wearing what should be Royce’s hat lol…and Royce is wearing wat should be Joells hat…but Crooked I’s wearing a Sacramento Kings hat? wtf lol

    Be on the look out for my stetsasonic mixtape comin out in a few weeks

  • BoogieFan

    Actually I’m pretty sure it’s a Los Angeles kings hat, the hockey team, but it’s be nicer if it indeed was a Sac-Town one….

  • http://www.myspace.com/brendanakacrates Brendan AKA Crates

    Haha I’m from Sac, you get your ass wooped here if you wear a Sac Kings hat, even in their hometown! They are so shitty that no one wants to be reminded of it. People from Sac like to pretend they are from Oakland and the Bay.

    As for the Slaughter album, I love all these emcees, but I felt that the beats were pretty wack save a few tracks…

  • BoogieFan

    For real? Talk about shitty fans, isn’t the purpose of being a fan supporting your team through the good and tough parts. They sure as hell were proud in 2000, bandwagon fans kill me. We Warriors fans stick with them through thick and thin, cause We Believe!

    Oh and I don’t agree, I like most Slaughterhouse beats and instrumentals, they fit their concept very well, in my opinion anyway…

  • http://kevinnottingham.com Thomas

    BoogieFan what are you talking about?

  • BoogieFan

    What you mean what I’m talking about? The first paragraph is about the NBAresponding to what Brendan said of the Sacramento Kings, and the last sentence is about the SH beats…

  • http://www.myspace.com/brendanakacrates Brendan AKA Crates

    @Boogie -

    Well it’s hard to be a fan right now because the Maloofs are such shitty owners, they embarrass the franchise and the city. Everyone is pretty much fed up with the Maloofs, not the team itself.

  • BoogieFan

    Yeah i admit I’ve seen better, but as long as Kevin Martin is there y’all should keep hope, cause next summer you’ll have plenty of cap space and even if you don’t land a LBJ, Wade or CB4, the free agent class is insane, give your team one more year and if it doesn’t work after that now you’ll be rightful in giving up, lol….

  • http://www.myspace.com/brendanakacrates Brendan AKA Crates

    Yeah except knowing the Maloofs they will sign someone hella good and then pick up and move to Las Vegas haha

    Sample to “Onslaught 2″

  • timm2014

    Anyone know another hip hop song that has used the “It’s Too Late” sample that Slaughterhouse used on their song “Sound Off”? I know I’ve heard those horns before. I think in a bridge or interlude years ago.

  • http://thebeats.nl skidzz

    @timm2014:
    I only know that the “Itls too late” version of Billy Paul was used by preem for m.o.p.

  • SoundOn

    The guy who produced “Pray” is called REALSON, not Realsong. His name is actually Aiko Rohd, but his pseudonym Realson.
    Look at the liner notes or at his myspace :
