Remix Cymarshall Law’s Single Harder Than Thou!

Since we released Cymarshall Law‘s new single, “Harder Than Thou,” last week, the buzz has been crazy. Produced by D-Slaps, with cuts by DJ JS-1, Cymarshall goes in over the track, um, harder than thou!

Now, we’re giving YOU a chance to put your own spin on the record. Download the acapella to “Harder Than Thou” and see if you can craft a beat just as dope, if not better than the original. The winning remix will be chosen by Cymarshall Law himself and will be included in an upcoming HiPNOTT Records mixtape being sponsored by HipHopDX. The mixtape will be a sampler of exclusive tracks from artists on HiPNOTT Records 2010 roster, as well as a few special guest appearances from some well known emcees. More information on the mixtape will be put out in the coming weeks, but this is something that you will definitely want to be a part of!

Rules:

1. Download the acapella below (and original for reference)
2. Remix the track… no limits. Do whatever you like with it; use samples or don’t… your call. Just make it dope!
3. Name your file with the name you wish to be credited
4. Upload your remix via the widget below in high quality mp3 format
5. If you make changes to your remix after you’ve uploaded, annotate the new version in the description and we will delete the old one.
6. Deadline for remix entries is December 23, 2009 at 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5)
