We here at KevinNottingham.com are proud to present the new EP from Nemo Achida entitled Climax Shxt. After being introduced to Nemo through his guest appearance on Kno’s Death Is Silent, I became an immediate fan after hearing the quality of his two EP’s from last year. There’s a reason Nemo and his Vibrations EP landed on a few of our top 10 of 2010 lists. Climax Shxt shows the Kentucky emcee’s versatility as he creates a conceptual project using some popular instrumentals from the past decade. This is just a preview of what’s to come as Nemo is scheduled to drop his debut album, the Digital Dan LP, later this year. Make sure you check out this project (and his previous work) as Nemo Achida could very well be hip hop’s next breakout star.

Good day Good folk,
In collaboration with KevinNottingham.com, I released my 1st “industry beat” based Ep. The project is conceptually built around the “phases of love” (as you know by now). Being a self-producer, I took the time to compile some of my favorite CLASSIC & sensual instrumentals, along with movie quotes from a few vintage romance flicks to build inspiration. Anybody who has been following my career is by now used to my approach, so this particular one would seem a bit unconventional. I took the time to focus on patterns & melody, which is completely opposite of my usual “rap-driven” approach. I hope y’all enjoy what I’ve done with already respected work (referring to the instrumentals), and I hope that in someway I’ve offered a totally different perspective on these pieces, that you can respect. I really want your Respect.

I’ve listened to this album a couple times now and really see growth in Nemo as an Artist and Producer. Not many dude’s are messing with him from a lyrical perspective. As a lover of Hip Hop and music in general, I must say this is a very nice piece of work here.
