9th Wonder To Finally Release Oft-Delayed Album The Wonder Years

by Justin on June 30, 2011

Most considered 9th Wonder’s The Wonder Years shelved for good, but the producer has announced the long awaited album will finally be released on September 27th. Originally scheduled to be released in January of 2008, the LP experience constant delays for the next two years. Looking at some of the artists involved, it looks like 9th has updated the album and this won’t be the same version we would’ve seen in 2008. Guests on 9th’s upcoming solo album include Phonte, Big K.R.I.T, Murs, Talib Kweli, David Banner, Erykah Badu, Kendrick Lamar, Warren G, Mac Miller and many of his Jamla artists.

“If there was ever a better time to express how I feel about hip-hop music, black music, or just music in general……it would be to do it now….on this project. My career has been from the depths of the underground, to the pop charts, but it has always stayed my sound, and what I believed in to be pure……..welcome to the Wonder Years,” says the former Little Brother member.
