Duane Powell Bids Farewell to KN

Happy New Year everyone. In reflecting on 2013 as I laid it to rest, I took a minute to recognize the roller coaster ride I found myself on. Many victories and many setbacks but through the many ups and downs, the bright spot for me is always when I get a chance to introduce artists and music to new listeners and contribute to the longevity of good music culture as a whole. It has been my life long passion. Being the Soulful Sundays editor here at KN for the past two years has helped me bring this passion into reality that much more. I am thankful to Kevin for affording me this opportunity and the freedom to share my love and discoveries with you, the readers. As I deal with all the things that life is throwing my way, I realize that I need to shift my focus. This means that I have to step down from my duties as Soulful Sundays editor. Though I make this announcement with a heavy heart, all is not lost. I do plan to strengthen my SOUNDROTATION brand in this new year and hope that you will still keep up with me as well as continue to support all of the greatness on KN. The staff here really puts in mad work to bring you guys the freshest of the fresh with integrity Again, a big thank you to Kevin Nottingham and his staff for this opportunity the past two years. Wishing for more ... Read More »
